Goodbye, and new Vacancy

Councillors were sorry to say goodbye to Cllr Andrea Cornwell who has stood down after many years on the council as she has moved from the village. Cllr Cornwell has been involved in pushing various projects forward including the School Run Safety Campaign, the creation of a new footpath and in making us all think more carefully about recycling and green issues.

We are therefore, now advertising a Casual Vacancy for the office of Councillor and notices of this will be posted around the village today. 

If ten electors request an election within 14 working days, then an election for the vacancy will be held. Otherwise, the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
