Green Energy Advice at Home!

Last June several of our neighbours in the village, who have installed heat pumps or solar panels, opened their doors and gave us the chance to look and ask questions about their experiences. We were asked to run this again, and with their help we will be doing this during the last two weeks of February.

You may be thinking about installing these technologies but want to hear first-hand from someone who has........so a great opportunity to find out more. We also know that in the future heat pumps will become more normal, so if you think you may need to replace an old boiler in the next few years, or are just curious about how they work and the costs, please do book and I'm sure you'll find the visit interesting!

All homes are in Eynsford and within walking distance of the centre.

Home 1 - Solar panels, battery and heat pump - 26 February 2-5Pm

Home 2 - Solar panels and heat pump - 23 February 5-7pm

Home 3 - Solar panels and battery - bought through the KCC managed Solar Together purchasing scheme - 24th February 2-5pm

Home 4 - Heat pump & EV - 22nd February 12-3pm

We will also have a thermal imaging camera available to borrow throughout February for a day or two at a time. The camera can help you to spot areas of your home where there is poor insulation or drafts.
