Flying the Flag for Commonwealth Day

Eynsford will be flying a flag for Commonwealth Day on Monday 14th March 2016.
In partnership with St Martin's Church and Anthony Roper Primary School, the parish council is arranging for the Commonwealth flag to be raised as part of a short celebratory event at St Martin's Church in Eynsford.
Everyone is invited to attend this event at 9.45am where the head boy and girl from the school will help to raise the flag. Parish Council Chair Sarah Boyle will say a few words alongside Rev Gary Owen.
It would be great to see representatives from other Commonwealth countries there too.
Refreshments will be available in St Martin's Church after the raising of the flag.
The UK is one of 53 Commonwealth Countries which will be celebrating on this date.
