Casual Vacancies

Following the election, the council now has two casual vacancies to fill. Being so close to the election, the council is able to fill these vacancies by co-option.
We invite any interested people to put themselves forward for these vacancies. The deadline for nominations is 12th June 2015.
This is a great opportunity for you to contribute towards our village community and environment. Have your say on decisions affecting your neighbourhood and how your money is spent, make change happen and bring new ideas.
Councillors are asked to attend two evening meetings per month and there will be emails and other correspondence to deal with in the meantime.
The council is involved directly or indirectly in: planning applications, planning policy, tree work, road improvements, street lighting, grass cutting, recreation areas, allotments, community events and more.
